Training
Running
The club runs from the Ashridge
Monument on Saturdays mornings at
9am prompt all year. In summer some
people swim before the run. There
are a number of routes available and
most involve cross country running
along the paths of the Ridgeway and
Ashridge. They are about 7.5 miles
and we typically split into 2 or 3
groups of a wide range of abilities.
There are some shortcuts but we will
never drop someone so come along.
Check the forum
for details of this weeks route and
who's running at the weekend. We
typically have a coffee/breakfast at
the cafe afterwards which is a good
way of getting to know the people in
the club.
Some of our members run with Tring Running Club
on a Wednesday night at 7:30 at the
Tring cricket club (opposite
Tesco's). They offer a number of
different weekly runs to suit all
abilities. They run as about 6
different groups from barely faster
than walking to 6:30 min/mile pace.
We also train with the Watford Harriers
on a Tuesday night 7pm at Woodside
Stadium Garston for track training.
