Not sure what peoples plans are after the race but there's talk of heading into Cambridge for lunch by the river or something. Nothing too organised, just see what people feel like.

So, anyone got any thoughts about the post-race party? _________________ www.colinbradley.blogspot.com - Does it get any better than this? |

Lots of options....... Depends what people fancy.
Parking in the town is always horrible. Granchester (sp?) is lovely & has some really nice pubs or a fantastic orchard tea-room. _________________ Next time, after a little more effort. |

Great idea. Can't think of any reason why we shouldn't go there. I'll always be drawn to a "really nice pub" or, especially, a "fantastic orchard tea-room".

This is the 'orchard tea room' >>> http://www.orchard-grantchester.com/
But it might be a bit nice for us lot so maybe the pub is a better option _________________ Next time, after a little more effort. |

The pub is always a better option

Btw - if the weather is anything like it's been today I'll be doing 'nothing'.
I do not need a repeat of Bedford 2008 _________________ Next time, after a little more effort. |

The forecast says light rain shower. That'll be like the light rain shower we had today, then.
Biblical.

The forecast is dry and warm. Goes to show not to take any notice of the weather 5 days in advance of a race. _________________ www.colinbradley.blogspot.com - Does it get any better than this? |

Nice one Dan.
Metcheck says fair and 17 degrees
BBC says light rain and 19 degrees
The app on my iphone says cloudy and 18 degrees
They'll all say something different tomorrow.
I'm taking no notice of the forecast.
